The Unintended Consequences of Transit
Transportation and land use, transportation and housing. Of course. It's intimately linked. The effect that we're talking about where transit increases the land use value is amplified in a place where you have low supply overall. And because at least in California, we've done a pretty poor job of building adequate housing overall, that effect is even more distorted. So if people we build enough supply, then we're not going to get there.
