How Pekka Heimelainen's a Lakota America Pushes Back Against Dominant Narratives

Sarah: I was wondering if you wanted to just tell how your book is pushing back against these kind of dominant narratives and how this isn't something that we're like making up whole cloth it's part of a long literary tradition. Why is it so central why is it so important that we actively you know center these particular stories she asks. Sarah: It's not just an act of inclusion on one hand it's an also an act of correction about the accuracy of of how our stories are represented but I want to hear from you in how you see it and how you see your book making that intervention.
