How to Pitch in to Help Someone Write an Email
You may have heard of the phrase pitch in. This is our next phrase. Pitch in always makes me think of a larger group of people all working together to help either one person or two help achieve something. To pitch in is to contribute is to help, but it's like a part of a wider group. For example, I often clean the dining table after we've had a meal. And then I may even get the mop and mop up if there has been a lot of mess. Or you tell them, I'm really struggling to write this email. I just can't think of the right words. Could you give me a hand with this email?
