The Importance of Adapting to the Environment
Rice is responsible for 100 million tons of methane, a greenhouse gas 28 times worse at the minimal level than CO2. Rice seeds are designed to grow in an environment that is more beneficial for humans and in nature around them. They can't be pre-salted so they're not coming pre-emptively saltier. You could take that rice and then taste it entirely normal - but only if you know what's good for you.
