Women in Movement

The WNBA has embodied movement as powerfully in both literal and metaphorical ways. In the summer of 2016, before anyone took a knee, the women of the Minnesota links covered their bodies in a call for justice on the court. Asia Wilson was drafted to the WNBA in 2018 when she was also named Rookie of the Year. She is the legacy of so many women who have moved into and through spaces before her - planting seeds for all the women who will come behind.
