I think you need a rubric to decide how important it is what you're telling. There were things that i put in the book, thet were very in draughts of it but there wasn't a point to them. Whenever you take something out of your writing that you don't need, the writing is helped anyway. But i always ask, if i moing to write something that i know is going to be complicated for somebody, i i need a pretty good reason to do it. And nited, you don't always meet that standard.
