Free Will, Compatiblism, and Determinism
iit: My arguments against free will have nothing to do with whether particles act determinately or indeterminately. When people talk about free will, they really, probably 99 % of the time, just mean moral responsibility. The one that i think is most a dominant and useful as talking about control. If we all agree that somebody doesn't have control in a way that prevents them from being responsible, are there any actions in which someone does have the right kind of in order to be held responsible? And people like me say no.
