Is Rent Control a Good Idea?
There are hundreds of thousands of new yorkers who lost their homes because of rent control. In the beginning, they paby thougt, it was a great deal. Until your apartment just goes away. So i think one has to have a very short termiopen view of their self interest to really advocate these laws.
