When women started making money, it usually involved doing things that women were expected to shoulder up for free. This type of work was considered less valuable than things that meant it and therefore because it was less valuable, the pay was lower compared to male dominated professions. Now mental health, healing, coaching, self development, this kind of thing, as a profession, introduced a dangerous new edge to this entire subversive formula.
