At this point, you're talking to the family. Do you use this opportunity to try and learn more information or is that irrelevant at this point too? You just really need to discuss with them. More information will sometimes help me solve the problem if there's clues in it. For the therapeutic effect for the family, having the ability to tell their story is involving them in this process and helping them understand that we're all in this together.
