In the opposite corner of the Black Sea towards the border between what's now Turkey and Georgia, Trebizons, the Empire of Trebizons. This was one of these little rump states that had been created when the Byzantine Empire was conquered by the fourth crusade in 1204. And this one managed to hang on to the 1460s. So again, the Ottomans took their time to really, these were sort of minor irritants,. you know, it was a bit like, you know, conquering and door or San Marino.
