Lincoln signed the Homestead Act, which provided land for settlers in the West. He also appointed a member of the Seneca tribe as his commissioner of Indian affairs. Lincoln believed that African Americans were inferior to whites and could never live together in harmony at the time. But he did not do absolutely anything to stop the treatment or persecution of Native Americans.
