In 19 72, a conference on the environment in stockholm was held. It established a precedent for international operation on the environment. 20 years later, morris strong went on to lead the rio earth conference which formed the u.N. Body on climate change. After years of trying, he spoken to ashley byrne about his discoveries. But there have been clear moments from the past when the science definitely got through to world leaders. That was when an american nassau scientist, professor james hanson finally got us politicians to listen to his warnings about climate change.
