The Problem With Fan Interference in Baseball

The pitcher is eliciting the fanning even if he's not actually performing the fanning motion. We understand the pitcher hitter relationship to go in a particular direction a lot of the time. And so that is why I'm fine with fan being a thing that like pitchers do to hitters and not the other way around.
