Is Istio a Service Message in a Cluster?
Service mess is what keeps track of this in a distributed system, right? Especially where the application can actually be bouncing around between multiple machines. In general, having this layer of misdirection through a surve mash is what allows you to go and discover and talk to services no matter where they may be located. This'll keep track of all that for you. And i think it actually works a cross application clusters as well. But that's getting into another layer of complexity.
