Sustainability and Mental Health - What's Next?

I love being outside. That's why I joined the Army as opposed to the Air Force. The idea of being outside and being comfortable in challenging environments is something that's always been appealing to me. With devices that we all carry around that are engineered to distract us, I think it's very easy for us to stop being attentive to the environment that we actually live in. And I really want to get that message across to people because it's easy to think of the Earth as so big that how could we possibly impact it? But really, it's not the whole Earth we're worried about. It is just this thin layer we live in.
