The Future of Tableau
Each of these tools has their own kind of underlying philosophy and then the challenge is to get and understand the philosophy. In Tableau, generally speaking, it prefers to take that data and not have it as three columns in the way I just described it, but longer so that you would have three columns, but they'd be different. So instead of 200 rows, you'd have 400 rows. The biggest barrier for people just learning Tableau is that it generally not always, but generally likes its data to be in a long or a tall format as opposed to wide.
