In our tradition, according to majority of islamic schools of law, the household shores are actually not part of the marital contract. How this act showed up in societies is simply based on cultural norms. A lot of it cultural norms necessitated on people that i'm going to be working outside, and you're going to be the home maker. We should be no equal distribution of responsibilities for men and women.
