The Neuroscience of Alien Hand Syndrome

There is a condition called alien hand syndrome which usually starts by people having damage in the right parietal area. This leads to them having a feeling of paralysis in the arm, the arms not active and they might describe their own hand as not theirs. It seems to me that if we have a very basic ability to appreciate what other human beings are doing by a kind of internal representation of what they're doing, that might suggest there's more common to the human species than relativists would have us believe.
