E C S and Object Trees

E c s is about doing something generic. Itis very good for a sun box or an open world type game. A op is oop just requires a lot more work to make sure your object tree is sane, ideally not go too deep. And they're both attempts to avoid having to reinvent over and over again. I just happen to prefer it, and i think the industry is moving that way.
