Sugar coup is a native species that has the ability to extract excess nitrogen as well as carbon from the water. We're looking at a situation where we're going to be farming the sugar calk. And our first season, we're looking to farm ten thousand pounds of sugar calk which could remove up to 36 pounds of nitrogen from our water from shunicok bay. Which we depend on most for fish and shellfish,. As well as recreate some of the habitat that's been lost to hurricanes such as super storm sandy.
