A lot of the founding BC members were in all kinds of organizing projects with white activists. It was never anti-white so much as a pretty vicious critique of white liberalism and an attempt to keep white people out of the leadership of key militant organizations. And there's a kind of organic division of the working class along racial lines that makes a standard shift from race to class impossible in the anti-apartheid movement.
