CHAPTER

The Proper Proportional Odds Model for Time to Event Analysis

The proportional odds model is one of the class of semi parametric models that just uses the ordering of the outcome, and it doesn't use the spacing of the outcome. So we often call the categories like zero, one, two, three, but it would be better to think of them as a, b, c, d. The wonderful thing about these models is they generalize the wolcoxen test. It's very akin to the proportional hazards model for time to event analysis.
