The Importance of Social Conscience in Film

I think films with a social conscience resonate with us. We like to, it's a big statement, but we like to see if we can change the world a little bit through film. So I think characters, story and if there's a message in there, then we're interested. But for every five socially conscious films we do, we'll do one that is just pure entertainment or something genre - you know what I'm sayin'? And people have to get used to that as well. Because when you're expecting investors to read a script, I mean, I think they're very unlikely to do that. Maybe they're unlikely to even read a treatment. There's probably more
