I think it was probably a mixture of things. Part of it feels like Chris Perry has, I don't know him. The album got mixed reviews and didn't really chart. Killing an Arab wasn't a hit single. So they're putting boys don't cry into a landscape that isn't waiting to hear what the cure is putting out next.
