The Opposite of Love Is Not Hate

Follow Patrick: I thought we were sort of, I thought we had a strong friendship then we in fact had which I am about to illustrate. One of the things that happens when we experience these kinds of disappointment in friendship is not that we start hating the other person, right? We just become kind of indifferent to them. What we have to assess is how is it going to be possible for me to love this person? Or is this the point where there is a boundary where I just have to walk away? You know, and that requires that that requires the gifts and the operation of virtue of prudence.
