April's perfume ingredient is Timot Pepper, a berry plucked from steep mountainsides in southern Nepal. In previous Spring fragrances nose-elody durant has used pink peppercorn for its bright, slightly spicy tone. This year the team instead experimented with another false pepper - Timot peppers are made up of a hard bitter black seed this is removed before being used in cooking.
