The Black Intellectual Tradition in Africana Studies
The bug got me, I guess, but it was, I think it was inevitable in many respects. Early on, I was disabused of the notion that Africana Studies was simply a collection of Black thought in different disciplines. But I needed to know what more about the ways Black thinkers engage that question. This led me to my own dissertation project. And so, of Black study is basically me doing that in a different form than a dissertation than a study itself.
