Morrie's Paintings - A Woman's Portrait

Morrie paints women and girls, but crucially it's where she paints them. Her subjects reflect her experience and the experience of the women around her. There is also a sense of an awareness of industrial modernity in these works. She was motivated by relationships with her friends,. relationships with her family, relationships with this network again - so it was a very intimate world.
