The Slow Death of Hydropower
Loron: My first prediction is the slow death of hydro power. It's all about climate change, but you seng is it drought and rainfall changes. And that would be my prediction, that we're gong to see really increasing. But by the way, there is a solution. Is tha solution going to have to couple those hydrodams with solar. When it's a really hot day, you've got lots of sun there. And the other things, you gon t have to put batteries in there. To make sure that those systems become much more flexible for a power system that's going to be increasingly built around variable renewales such as wind and solar.
