The Conservatives' Trap: The Sentencing Council
The Sentencing Council exists to ensure consistency across the course. It doesn't set the sentences that maximum and minimum sentences are set by parliament. And what the Conservatives are trying to do is pretend it's nothing to do with them. They've been trying to claim that the judiciary is fully independent of parliament. But in the EU know, he's not. He's a starmer when he was on the Sentencing Council. Did he try and make those Sentencing Councils? The Sentencing Council does. This is the trap they're hoping people will fall into.
