Bitcoin and Proof of Work
The USF in 2017 proved that miners don't actually control the rules of Bitcoin. I've viewed it as the free market winning out, ultimately, and in a pretty robust way. And obviously the market, as well as lacking certainty, seems to be very positively the people who had uncertainty or worried about it were extremely pleased that it was resolved. It does seem interesting, phenomena that the people that were pushing for the change largely have stayed pretty silent about what they think about it,.
