Didn't God Choose the Harder Path?

A lot of pop music that I find very edifying. There's a song on the sing to soundtrack where she goes I want to feel love and pain. She wants to feel pride and shame. This is why I'm drawn to a lot of there's a lot of music. But my point is God let's presuppose a God or imagine a God that could have like the Matrix created a reality where everything is soft and easy. Clearly that if this if this God exists didn't choose that it chose the one where fucked up shit is constantly happening kind of like Hercules chose I'll take the harder path.
