Functional Style C-Sharp - What's the Difference?

In a well-designed language, the whole is bigger than the sum of the parts, right? It's not just having lambdas, it's having composition and having type inference. In C-sharp, again, I'd have to be extremely specific and put every single generic parameter into there in all different places. And so, yeah, I would find that kind of annoying if I was forced to do that style in C-sharp. If you're on this team and you're doing functional style C-sharp... What do you think is the delta between that and F-sharp?
