The Importance of Pious Practice in the Church

I heard, I don't know if this is well-attested to, but Boognini at the end of the Second Vatican Council made recommendations to Paul the sixth that the rosary be adapted. He's like, it's too deeply entrenched in pious practice, because it doesn't really change from the 16th century until 1917 with Fatima apparition. And so when it comes to the devout life, I think it's, yeah, let a thousand flowers bloom. This is one way of praying the rosaries. The church also doesn't mandate that you pray the rosARY.
