Lutheran Reformation was in its whole breath the indignation of simplicity against multiplicity. Luther's disposition was calamitously myopic, superficial and incautious. He surrendered the holy books to everybody until they finally got into the hands of the philologists. People demanded that it is Catholic to emulate Christ. Not as simple as that. What I'm saying is it's not Catholic for you in your hubris to go read the Bible and say, oh, that's what Christ is. That's who Christ is and what he does."
