The Stanford marshmallow test was originally designed for children, and it's a measure of delayed gratification. We have shown that certain corkids can pass the marshmallow test. Are they always using a marshmallow, or is that just like the term 'almost never use marshmallows' with animals? The cuttlefish... They like it if they tried it. And then versus a living shrimp ... That's like yummy to them.
