"I see this song as having almost like three layers to it. The first layer is the family that you were born into and that most of us in Western culture, the dynamics of that family just were not such that we could have made contact with the full expression of ourselves," he says. "And then higher too is when you get the opportunity to start to find your chosen family... And it's in that sphere for me where I've been able to deepen my contact with the true unique part of me."
