He is given the title king of the jews, and he is sent back to rule over judea. He begins a programme of construction to make his part of the world one of the most extravagant parts of the world. His dining room had enough seating for 300 guests. And he was responsible for paying taxes to rome. So here's the guy that had troops to enforce the taxes coming to Rome.
