I would recommend not just learning to write Elixir, but looking at other people's Elixir code. The most benefit I've found in terms of having a deeper understanding is looking at the senior engineers code of work and seeing how they maybe solve a problem in a different way than how I would first approach it. It took me probably longer than most people would to get there, but I'm glad I have. And so the onboarding Elixir journey is different, I think for everyone.
