Each stanza, that's each group of lines, ends with two syllables. bob and wheel is a poetic device which can be found in poems from this mediaeval period. Soje sounds or a most massive man, the mightiest of mortals. And simon armitage has managed to modernize the vocabulary. But it does maintain that bob and wheel and illiteration, which are so important.
