What I Was Concerned About Was My New Palestine

I was planning to go with Voices in the Wilderness, a group that did circus and theater performances in Iraq. But by the time I was ready to go, the Iraq word had already started. So they said it's too dangerous for us to go to Iraq now, but we are going to Palestine. And so my reaction to that was kind of like, oh, Palestine,. Because even though I was wanting to know more about what was going on there, obviously it was kind of awkward for me as a Jewish person and my Jewish family.
