How to Test Slow Code Loading

As a designer, how do I really get on with understanding how slow it can be to for these images to load or stuff like that? If you have the ability to use a lower end device to load your code, occasionally maybe before you ship something, pull it up. In dev tools, you can kind of simulate the experience of being on a slower device or having a slower network connection. Try adjusting the CPU settings, try adjusting the network settings. You may find that the experience is very different.
