The Role of Indirect Mention in Censorship
A lot of censorship questions and regulation of speech come down to understanding the claims of misinterpretation. The idea here is that to ask whether something is a law is tightly related to asking whether the law is valid. So we get a normative idea introduced and then it's unclear where the norm comes from.
