Utah's New Social Media Law Means Children Will Need Approval From Parents
Utah became the first state to enact laws limiting how children can use social media after Republican governor Spencer Cox signed a pair of measures Thursday. The two bills signed in the law prohibit kids under 18 from using social media between the hours of 10.30 p.m. and 6.30 a.m. They also seek to prevent tech companies from luring kids to their apps using addictive features. Next up, Montana bans the vaccinated from donating blood. A bill to band owners who received a COVID-19 vaccination for giving blood will decimate the blood supply in Montana - leaving patients at risk of even deaths.
