Is the Loss of the Reserve Currency Status of the Dollar a Disaster?
The loss of the reserve currency status on the part of the dollar is highly unlikely to occur in the immediate ture, but that even if it did, it would not be the catastrophic event that some people fear. A slow transition to decline on the reserve status of the dollar would not be disastrous. It would change the ball game slowly enough for markets to adjust. And i should emphasize as well that all my readings of the current numbers holding of treasuries, the exchange value of the dollar in world markets,.
