Richie Barrett is best known for his 1962 single Some Other Guy which was later covered by the Beatles among others. The group that Frankie Lyman was performing with was one of those groups but he was easily persuaded instead to join the from ears. He was the young kid who hung around with them when they practiced, not the leader and not even a major part of the group. Not yet anyway.
