The Importance of Growing Up in a Catholic Home
Your father was a trade unionist and your mother helped women victims of domestic abuse. Can you tell us about what it was like growing up in that kind of environment? I had a really good childhood. My parents were very, well, would be considered to be very good Catholics. We were not well off. We were working class people. But I also feel I was brought up in a very happy household.I got all this good stuff, lots of love, not a lot of money around but a lot of things.
