The Iranian revolution was a contested one with two wings of thought. One wing has triumphed over the other and that wing is really an autocratic Islamist wing around the person of a supreme leader. It's led to huge frictions in terms of the way in which the country is governed. And what we've seen over the last, I would say, decade to 15 years is a series of protests against this autocracy. The protesters are certainly not thinking about reforming things - they just want it gone much more serious.
