NBC News Analysis: 272 Republican Candidate Defeating Biden's 2020 Election
272 Republican candidates on the ballot in House, Senate, gubernatorial and secretary of state races around the country who have denied or actively questioned the legitimacy of President Biden's 2020 election. That number includes a majority, 54% of Republican House nominees, 227 out of a total of 419. Nearly four and 10 say they would feel comfortable backing a 2020 election denier if that candidate agreed on most other issues.
